By creating one of Australia’s largest carbon offsetting programs, minimising waste and single use plastics, and investing in more sustainable aircraft and aviation fuel, we’re working towards a brighter future of travel.
At Qantas Freight, we’re investing in a new, more fuel-efficient fleet, including 9 A321 freighters which are up to 30 per cent more fuel efficient than the aircraft they replace.
The use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is also critical and we’ve invested $400 million with Airbus on a Climate Fund to accelerate the development of an Australian SAF industry.
